The Center on Mental Health and Well-being

Welcome to The Center on Mental Health and Well-being

You and I are the Apple of HIS EYE
An Apple for THE TEACHER

Our God does not reject you or me or change his mind about you. Our GOD’S LOVE for us is locked in. This reminds me of a story I read in my Daily Devotional from Pastor Joel Osteen titled: Beyond the Flaws.

“One day Jesus saw Peter casting his net into the Sea of Galilee and called him to be His disciple. Peter was a poor fisherman, not a religious leader, synagogue priest, or man of faith. He wasn’t refined and was hot-tempered, impulsive, and used bad language. Jesus already knew that Peter would deny Him three times. Yet God chose him to be one of the twelve disciples who would change the world. Why Peter? Because Jesus could see that in that poor, disadvantaged, uneducated fisherman was a world changer, a history maker. God looks beyond our flaws, our failures, our weaknesses, and He sees the masterpiece we can become. The enemy would love for us to go through life feeling inferior, focused on our weaknesses, weighed down with regrets, guilty from past mistakes, condemned, ashamed. But Jesus calls us to leave our nets and follow Him. Don’t let negativity limit your life. You are who God says you are. He says you’re a masterpiece. He says you have greatness in you. He says you are destined to leave your mark. Rise up and follow!“

An Apple for THE TEACHER: The Message above is a heartfelt reminder to embrace the truth that speaks to our souls: our GOD walks alongside us, works with us, and embraces our imperfections daily. We are cherished and treasured in His sight, reflecting the very core of who we are.
The Apple of HIS EYE: Let’s embrace this profound truth.

For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable [for He does not withdraw what He has given, nor does He change His mind about those to whom He gives His grace or to whom He sends His call]. Romans 11:29 AMP.

Nevertheless, you are GOD’S Choice!

“You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.” John 15:16 NIV.

GOD chose you.
